Rev Kalek Becomes a Pirate
Real Bedford are excited to announce the acquisition of young defender Rev Kalek, marking the club's third signing of the season.
Rev Kalek, joins the Pirates from MK College Football Academy, a successful youth side that also featured current Real Bedford goalkeeper, Tyler McGregor, with Kalek being the latest talent to come from the Step 7 side.
On the topic of signing for Real Bedford, Rev Kalek stated,
"Having trained with Bedford towards the back end of last season, I immediately knew this was a project I would love to get involved in. The ambition of the club matches my own and there are so many experienced players to learn from, I’m really excited for the season ahead."
Manager Rob Sinclair stated;
“Rev’s arrival signifies our continued focus on building a team for the future. His calibre and ball-playing ability is what we look for in defenders, and he’s certainly someone we are keen to help develop both on and off the pitch."
The signing of Kalek, as well as the already announced Joe Steele, sees a significant boost in the defensive department ahead of Bedford’s first pre-season game on Saturday 8th July against AFC Rushden & Diamonds at McMullen Park.
