Ben Stevens Signs on with Real Bedford

Real Bedford can confirm the signing of young attacking midfielder Ben Stevens ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 season.

Having worked through the age-grade set-up at now Premier League side Luton Town, Stevens joins the Pirates after a successful stint at AFC Kempston Rovers last season. Still only 20 years old, Stevens holds much potential and can play across the attacking line and in a creative midfield role.

On his arrival at McMullen Park, Stevens added:

"Having spoken to Rob Sinclair before pre-season, I knew this was a club I would want to be involved in. There's a real positive buzz around the ground, and I can't wait to get stuck into this season with the group of players here at Bedford."

Manager Rob Sinclair stated;

“Ben’s a really exciting prospect. He’s technically gifted with a high level of experience for a player of his age. He’s also gelled with the rest of the squad really well so far, which for me is a big positive."

The addition of Ben Stevens to the squad is the Pirates' second midfield signing, with Lee Watkins already confirmed to be a Real Bedford player last week. Both will be in action on Saturday, 8th July, at McMullen Park as Bedford get their pre-season fixtures underway at home Vs AFC Rushden and Diamonds.

Real Bedford welcomes Ben Stevens and wishes him all the best with his time at the Pirates.
