Joe Steele Signs for Real Bedford

Real Bedford are thrilled to announce the signing of defender Joe Steele for the upcoming season.

The club has successfully secured the services of the centre-back, who brings a wealth of experience to the team. Having previously played at near neighbours Bedford Town as well as AFC Dunstable and Arlesey Town, Joe has earned a reputation as a solid defender, due to his big physical presence.

Talking about his move to The Pirates, Joe Steele said,

“I was really happy to sign for Real Bedford and be part of such an ambitious club. The vision and determination displayed, coupled with the massive improvement in facilities and coaching staff recently, make this a perfect fit for me."

Manager Rob Sinclair, stated;

“Joe's arrival is a significant boost to our defence. His physicality, dominance and work on and off the ball will add an extra layer of solidity to our backline. Joe's experience and personal qualities were also a massive pull, so I’m really grateful we were able to pick him up.”

Following on from the signing of Lee Watkins, the signing of Joe Steele further signals Real Bedford FC's continued commitment to building a squad capable of challenging for the league ahead of the forthcoming Step 5 campaign. Having won titles at multiple levels within the game, Steele brings an experience and quality to the team that should excite Pirates fans.

Real Bedford FC extends a warm welcome to Joe Steele and wishes him a successful time at the club.
