Match Focus: The Pirates Host MK Irish in the Season Opener

Real Bedford open their league campaign against MK Irish under the Tuesday Night Lights at McMullen Park

Match Preview
With Real Bedford winning the Spartan South Midlands Division One title and MK Irish coming 5th in a competitive United Counties League last campaign, this is set to be a great opening fixture for the fans as both teams will be pushing for promotion.

Real Bedford come into the fixture after a solid preseason win against Step 6 side Moulton, while MK Irish fell short to Leighton Town in their final preseason outing, losing 2-0 on the road.

Tickets
Tickets are available in advance on the website as well as at the gate. As always, U19s can come to Real Bedford matches for free. 

Food and Drink
The clubhouse will be open before the game, at half-time and after the final whistle, with a range of food and drink available, including beers from our match day sponsor, Brewpoint. 

Merchandise
Merchandise will also be for sale in the club shop, including our 22/23 Champions hoodies and t-shirts.

Parking/Transport
There is limited parking available on-site for fans, and Stewards will be on hand to advise you throughout the day. Both bus routes 72 and 73 to Biggleswade also run services to the ground at regular intervals from Bedford Bus Station. For more travel information, look on the Real Bedford website. 

Dogs
We are a dog-friendly club, but we advise owners always to keep their pets on the lead when inside the ground.
