Match Focus: Real Bedford Clash with Corby Town
Real Bedford play under the Tuesday-Night-Lights on 11th July at McMullen Park as The Pirates take on Corby Town in their second pre-season game this week.
Match Preview
With the recent arrival of former Bedford Town manager Gary Setchell, Corby Town have been busy during the off-season with many new faces joining the Step 4 side. Just like The Pirates, Corby got their pre-season underway on Saturday with a game against UCL Premier North side Deeping Rangers in which they came away with a 2-0 win.
Real Bedford had similar success at the weekend, with a 1-0 victory against AFC Rushden and Diamonds in front of a sizeable McMullen Park crowd. Both teams will be eager to keep their 100% record during their pre-season campaigns, whilst also giving players another chance to get some valuable game time under their belts ahead of the season starting in August.
Tickets
Tickets for pre-season friendlies will be available at a reduced price, while season ticket holders get access to friendlies as part of their purchase. As always, U19s can come to Real Bedford matches for free.
Food and Drink
The clubhouse will be open before the game, at half-time and after the final whistle, with a range of food and drink available.
Merchandise
Merchandise will also be for sale in the club shop, including our 22/23 Champions hoodies and t-shirts.
Parking/Transport
There is limited parking available on-site for fans, and Stewards will be on hand to advise you throughout the day. Both bus routes 72 and 73 to Biggleswade also run services to the ground at regular intervals from Bedford Bus Station. For more travel information, look on the Real Bedford website.
Dogs
We are a dog-friendly club, but we advise owners always to keep their pets on the lead when inside the ground.
