Match Focus: MCMULLEN PARK Under The Lights as Pirates face Harpenden

The Pirates play Harpenden this evening in an electric match under the McMullen Park lights.

Match Preview
The Pirates find themselves in a difficult run of form, searching for their first league win of February. But with their thrilling track record under the lights at McMullen Park. Rob Sinclair’s men are looking to get back on track and keep their place at the top of the Spartan Premier Division Table.

The visitors in comparison have hit a purple patch over the last few weeks, with 4 wins in their last 5 matches. Currently sitting just outside the play-off places in the league, Harpenden Town will be looking to right some wrongs from the reverse fixture where The Pirates came out 5-0 victors back in December.

Parking/Transport
We are entering into an agreement with Bedford Town, Biggleswade FC, and the adjacent meat processing business (Dunbia) to manage car parking. The aims are to ensure visitor safety and maximise available parking. There are costs associated with this, we are therefore going to charge visitors £1 per car for the 2023/24 season. This is the minimum level required to meet our immediate needs.

Both bus routes 72 and 73 to Biggleswade also run services to the ground at regular intervals from Bedford Bus Station. For more travel information, look on the Real Bedford website.

Dogs
We are a dog-friendly club, but we advise owners always to keep their pets on the lead when inside the ground.
