Isuzu FA Vase and Vitality Women’s FA Cup Draws Announced

Real Bedford will play Biggleswade United in the Second Round of the Isuzu FA Vase at McMullen Park, whilst Real Bedford Ladies will host Billericay Town for their Vitality Women’s FA Cup First Round draw.

The Pirates celebrate their 5-0 over MK Irish in the First Round

Having recently played each other in the league, with The Pirates coming out on top 5-1 on the road, Rob Sinclair’s men will once again face Biggleswade, this time on home soil on the 11th of November.

After the news of the tie, Rob Sinclair said:

“Having already played Biggleswade United this season in the league, we know it’ll be a tough challenge, but one everyone is excited for. Having the game at home is always a bonus, as we know the crowd will be behind us throughout the 90 minutes. We will focus on the league games we have coming up for now, but we are looking forward to the prospect of another local derby in this competition.”

The Pirates put four past Stevenage to reach the First Round Proper

Real Bedford Ladies will also play at McMullen Park in a bid to continue their good form in the FA Cup, facing Billericay Town. Dean Perrett’s side is yet to lose a game of football this season, with this game proving their toughest yet. The match will take place on Sunday 12th November, with a 1pm kick-off.

Upon hearing the draw, Dean Perrett said:

“It’s a great tie for the club. To have such a big club play at McMullen Park will be quite the spectacle. I know a few people there, so it’s a club I’ve followed closely. With them being two leagues above, they will be a tough test, but I look forward to it as I know a lot of the players will, too.”
