Club Update: Real Bedford Ladies

After a successful spell leading the first team on an interim basis, Georgia Clarke will step down from her management position at the end of the campaign as the club continues its search for a manager ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Real Bedford Chairman, Peter McCormack, commented:

“Georgia and her team have performed exceptionally well since taking over mid-season and have helped the club achieve a historic promotion into the National League.”

“A successful ladies’ team has many downstream benefits for women’s and girls’ football in Bedford. As such, we would like to challenge for the league again next season and are searching for a permanent First Team Manager with the necessary skills and experience to deliver this.”

We can confirm that Georgia and her staff will continue in their current roles until the conclusion of this current campaign. The club remains focused on finishing the season strongly as it competes in the County Cup and League Cup finals.

The club would like to thank Georgia and her team for their commitment during her tenure as interim manager and for agreeing to continue in this role throughout the remainder of the campaign.
