September remained an undefeated month for Real Bedford Ladies despite the challenge of four tricky league fixtures. The Pirates managed to keep clean sheets in 3 of those 4 games only conceding 2 goals across the month whilst putting 14 in the opposition net. Amy Reed
Having been awarded player of the match in Real Bedford’s first game of the season back in August, Reed has continued her fine form into September. Her defensive displays alongside her ball playing ability have ensured The Pirates continue to play with the ball on the front foot.

Gemma Croucher
Usually found linking up the team in the middle of the park, Croucher has been ever present within the Real Bedford side over the last month. Scoring and assisting the majority of Bedford’s goals, Croucher has proved indispensable at times with her link up play and vision.

Sophie Billing
Billing has proved herself as a core player within the Real Bedford Ladies side, despite being one of the youngest players in the squad. After consistently making an impact off the bench during the opening games of the season, Billing now seems to have secured a starting role within Dean Perrett’s side having scored the winner against Bower’s and Pitsea on the road a few weeks ago.

Tash Fensome
With bags of experience and talent, Fensome has once again proved her worth over the course of September, causing nightmares for opposition defence with direct running and pace combined with her sharp shooting and eye for goal. With goals in consecutive games at the start of the month, Fensome has continued that form into the latter games, providing multiple chances for teammates to find the back of the net.
