Job Description
Real Bedford Football Club is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented First Team Data Analyst to join our men’s first team. The successful candidate will be a critical part of our first team setup, providing in-depth analysis and insights to support the manager, coaching staff, and players. This role is pivotal in helping the team achieve its performance goals through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of comprehensive performance analysis to the manager, coaching staff, and players.
Work closely with the first team coaching staff to identify key performance metrics and trends.
Provide detailed pre-match, in-match, and post-match analysis to inform tactical decisions and strategies.
Utilise various data analysis tools and software to compile, interpret, and present data in a clear and actionable manner.
Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop and refine analysis processes and methodologies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the club’s analytical capabilities.
Requirements
Ability to present complex data in an understandable and impactful way to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for football and a commitment to supporting the success of Real Bedford FC.

ABOUT REAL BEDFORD FC
Real Bedford FC is a non-league football club based in Bedford. Acquired by Peter McCormack in 2021, he set the ambitious goal of getting the team into the football league. After rebranding as Real Bedford, they won a league and cup double in their first season and were promoted to the Spartan South Midlands Premier League. During the 2023/24 campaign, the Men’s team not only completed back-to-back League and Cup doubles, but RBFC Women completed an inaugural treble. The club also received a ground-breaking investment from the Winklevoss Twins who became part-owners of the club in April 2024 after an initial $4.5m investment.
