Shaheim Ward Signs for The Pirates
Real Bedford can confirm defender Shaheim Ward has signed for the club from MK Irish.
Having previously played for Bedford FC at McMullen Park under previous ownership, Ward returns to the home of The Pirates after an impressive season with MK Irish last campaign.
With time spent at both Kempston and Potton United before his breakout season with the Irish, Ward’s talents are well known to Real Bedford fans having starred for the Milton Keynes outfit across last years title race.
On signing for The Pirates, Ward said:
“I obviously know the club well and was able to see the trajectory it was on last season. The style of football suits the way I like to play and hopefully I’ll be able to develop and grow with the club over the coming years.”
Manager, Rob Sinclair said:
“I’m delighted to get Shaheim on board, he proved a difficult player to come up against last season for MK Irish so it’s great to have him in Real Bedford colours for this campaign. He is a young skilful defender who is keen to learn and develop, something he can hopefully do during his time at the club.”
