Real Bedford FC <> Bedford Town Merger Update

Real Bedford can confirm that discussions regarding a potential merger with Bedford Town FC have ended and both clubs will continue to operate independently heading into the 2025/26 season.

Following recent communication from the Football Association, a formal deadline was set for Wednesday 23rd April to conclude merger arrangements. While conversations have been positive, the timeline did not allow enough space to finalise key governance issues and broader details required to complete such a significant move.
