Match Focus: Real Bedford Host Stansted at McMullen Park

Real Bedford host Stansted in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division on Saturday (3pm KO)

Match Preview
The Pirates look to continue their league form off the back of their dominant displays against Colney Heath and Biggleswade United in the week. With McMullen Park anticipating a record crowd off the field, Rob Sinclair’s men will look to match it with a strong performance on it.

Stansted currently sit 17th in the league table having only claimed 2 wins out of 10 so far this season. However, having held title favourites MK Irish to a draw last time out, the away side will be looking to cause further upset at McMullen Park on Saturday afternoon.

Events
The club will be holding a bitcoin meet-up (from 12pm) with special guests Jameson Lopp, Rob Hamilton and CK in attendance.

Club sponsor, Gemini will also be at McMullen Park with a free pizza truck and beanie stall located pitch side (from 1pm).

Bedford Park Rangers players, coaches, and parents are invited to take part in the multiple events for the club over the course of the day, including chances to meet the players as well as a Q&A for players and coaches with the first team.

Tickets
Tickets are available here in advance on the website as well as at the gate. As always, U19s can come to Real Bedford matches for free.

Livestream
We are streaming this clash at McMullen Park! The game will be available to view live for all those outside of the UK. Tune in here

Food and Drink
The clubhouse will be open before the game, at half-time and after the final whistle, with a range of food and drink available. We also have an outside bar serving cold drinks and snacks pitch side, as well as outside toilet facilities for the game.

Merchandise
Merchandise will also be for sale in the club shop, including our 22/23 Champions hoodies and t-shirts and the match day programme. We also have hand-made Real Bedford Bracelets from Bracelets By Soph on sale in the clubhouse throughout the afternoon!

Parking/Transport
We are entering into an agreement with Bedford Town, Biggleswade FC, and the adjacent meat processing business (Dunbia) to manage car parking. The aims are to ensure visitor safety and maximise available parking. There are costs associated with this, we are therefore going to charge visitors £1 per car for the 2023/24 season. This is the minimum level required to meet our immediate needs.

Both bus routes 72 and 73 to Biggleswade also run services to the ground at regular intervals from Bedford Bus Station. For more travel information, look on the Real Bedford website.

Dogs
We are a dog-friendly club, but we advise owners always to keep their pets on the lead when inside the ground.
