Injury Update: Matt Clifford

Real Bedford can confirm that defender Matt Clifford suffered a significant knee injury during mid-week training at the end of October.

Scans have revealed that Clifford has endured a lateral meniscus tear and will seek further medical consultation to confirm whether surgery is required.

Matt will now undergo a lengthy rehabilitation programme and is expected to be out of action for a significant amount of time.

The club will continue to support Matt throughout his return to football and looks forward to seeing him back in a Real Bedford shirt in the near future.
