GEMINI SIGN £500,000 SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH REAL BEDFORD

Gemini has signed a new £500,000, five-year sponsorship agreement with Real Bedford. The deal, paid entirely in Bitcoin, strengthens the partnership between Gemini and Real Bedford while supporting the club's ambitious goal of bringing Premier League football to the town.

This long-term deal underscores Gemini’s commitment to the Real Bedford project, continuing its role as the men’s team’s front-of-shirt sponsor, which began in August 2022. The agreement follows a recent announcement that Winklevoss Capital, the family office owned by founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, will invest $4.5 million into the club.

The five-year sponsorship, one of the longest multi-year shirt sponsor deals outside the professional game, will see the Bitcoin deposited into the club’s treasury, which helps the club pursue its ambitious goals while protecting against high inflation.

COO of Gemini, Marshall Beard, said:

“Our strategic five-year deal reaffirms our belief in Real Bedford — powered by Bitcoin and Peter’s leadership — to challenge the status quo and outperform expectations,”

“The investment fortifies Real Bedford’s balance sheet with digital assets, providing advantages both on and off the pitch. We eagerly anticipate the club’s future achievements.”

Peter McCormack commented:

“I want to say a massive thank you to Gemini for extending their sponsorship agreement with Real Bedford for another five years. Accepting payment for the deal in Bitcoin, strengthens our economic position.

In today's climate of reckless government economic policies resulting in massive borrowing, high inflation, and soaring interest rates, hardworking people are bearing the financial burden of the morons in government. While these vultures keep their knees on the neck of the productive parts of society, Bitcoin offers a lifeline, providing individuals and businesses a way to safeguard their financial future.

Since integrating Bitcoin into our treasury, we have achieved a +62% return, thereby strengthening the club's financial position and protecting our cost base against the recent surge in inflation”

Real Bedford is open to sharing its Bitcoin strategy with other clubs or businesses facing similar economic challenges.
