CLUB STATEMENT: Dean Perrett

Real Bedford Ladies FC announces the departure of its first-team manager, Dean Perrett, by mutual consent. First Team Coach Georgia Clarke will assume management duties for the team for the remainder of the season.

Chairman of Real Bedford, Peter McCormack, reflected on the change:

“After considerable deliberation, the club has reached this decision. I spoke with Dean this afternoon to explain the rationale behind our decision and expressed our gratitude for his dedication and hard work.”

McCormack commented on Georgia Clarke's new role:

“We are grateful to Georgia for stepping into the interim management position. We are all committed to providing her with our complete support as we aim to build on the progress made by the team this season.”

Jill Upton, Chair of Real Bedford Ladies, also extended her appreciation:

“On behalf of Real Bedford Ladies, I want to thank Dean for his service as the first team manager.”

The club collectively thanks Dean for his work this season and wishes him the best for the future.

Real Bedford FC is a non-league football club based in Bedford. Acquired by Peter McCormack in 2021, he set the ambitious goal of getting the team into the football league. After rebranding as Real Bedford, they won a league and cup double in their first season and have been promoted to the Spartan South Midlands Premier League.
